“Come; let us build the wall of Jerusalem” Nehemiah 2:17
I was born in Communist Romania, august 1977, in a village called Egrespatak, in an evangelical Baptist family.
One year after graduation I finished my studies at the Zilah Baptist Bible School and then at the Hungarian Baptist Theological Seminary in Cluj. Since the Romanian state did not recognize the diploma obtained in Cluj-Napoca, I and my classmates were able to enroll in the Bucharest Romanian Baptist Theological Institute in order to obtain a fully recognized diploma. Also I was able to deepen my knowledge of theology at Cardiff University, the Capital city Cardiff in Wales.
With the grace of God, from my childhood, I was in touch with faith and the teaching of the Bible. I have always believed in the existence of God and the teaching of the Bible and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and was baptized at the age of 15. However, complete disqualification towards God took place in the Hargita camp in July 1994. It was the first time in my life that I could truly cry and grieve for my sins. I went through an indescribable and humanly inexplicable spiritual breakdown. God had poured out the Spirit of repentance on me. At this point I cried out to God, apologizing and confessing my sins to God. With this newborn consciousness, the Holy Spirit had awakened in me the desire I have had in my heart since childhood to live my life in the service of God. I then began my intellectual and practical preparation for the theology in Cluj. Living now in Canada, I have pastured the First Hungarian Baptist Church of Toronto since 2009. God has blessed me with a godly wife and 4 children. An example of my ministry here is the Biblical Nehemiah. Like him, I want to build a wall that, on the one hand, provides security for God's people and the people persecuted by Satan, and, on the other, draw a clear line between "Jerusalem" and the enemy's territory, God and Satan. My purpose is to work in this ministry humbly, faithfully, with God's guidance, through the preaching of Gods pure Word, call hearts to salvation, pray, family visitation, and advancement in knowledge. In 2011 Barney Cserepka had approached me to be a volunteer support member in Bethesda Project missions in South America Bolivia. I was more than happy to, because I had known of his parents being Hungarian missionaries Rev. John & Dr. Margaret Cserepka.
Thank you for supporting missions around the world.

I am Ovidiu Savin born in Romania, I live in Canada where I became a born-again Christian and I understood that the Lord called us to be first witnesses and that my responsibility is to carry the word of God to the end of the Earth.
In 2009, I met Barney. The Lord has made our roads meet. Thus I gained a brother, a friend and a solution to what the Lord put on my heart, namely to participate in a mission.
I considered it a challenge, through which I can evaluate the work of the Lord in my life and especially to realize if people who have never met me see in me the work of God.
For the first time I went on a mission in 2011, and I felt what foreigners in Romania probably felt during the Communist regime. Because I came from another country, the world looked at me differently - in a good sense I felt different - but at the same time I felt very close to those from Chapare Bolivia. We felt that no matter where we came from or where we were born, we belong to the same family: the big family of Christ.
The Lord has given me to spend a wonderful time in Bolivia, and all I want is for those out there to remember me as a brother in Christ, to give Him His glory because I got there, and I could be a living testimony of His love and His presence.
With the will of the Lord I want to participate in other missions trip, I can send a message to those who were born in other countries, where the salary of $ 15 / month is hard to imagine how blessed these are blessing is to bless others.
God Bless you!

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1962 September 20th in Potosi Bolivia. I was baptized in April 1963 and attended the Baptist Seminary during 1964 to 1967. God had a calling on my life to work with the Quechua peoples in the Amazon Basin of Chapare Bolivia, that is where I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Rev. John and Dr. Margaret Cserepka. I as a Pastor under the Union Bautista Boliviana worked in Chapare church planting and ministering amidst the Quechua people during the years of 1967 to 1970. Rev. John and Dr. Margaret Cserepka were a good example of love, kindness and commitment to the missionary work here in Bolivia. They ministered many years amidst the Quechua, Yuracare cultural groups of people. The Bethesda Clinic was the first to provide medical services and the only one to provide snake bite medicine for many years. After five years of ministry in Chapare I was invited to be a teacher in the Baptist Seminary in Cochabamba. 20 years of training Bolivian pastors we have started to mobilize the Bolivian Evangelical Church's. I had the pleasure to seen one family from Chapare going to India as missionaries, and hope to see many more going to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In my younger years at age 6 with the help of my father I accepted Jesus Christ in to my heart as my Savior, then I was baptized. I grew up in a Christian home, and my Father the Son of missionaries my grandparents Rev.John and Dr. Margaret Cserepka who had done Mission work in South America Bolivia. I had the pleasure to listen to incredibly fascinating stories from my father about what it was like to grow up as a missionary kid. I always was curious what it would be like to go on a mission trip. When I turned fifteen I went on a mission trip to Bolivia into the Amazon basin of Chapare with my father and a team group of people. We helped renovate a building that my grandparents had founded over 50 years ago as the first hospital in that jungle region. This has been a big impact in my life and when my father asked me if I could help him out with technical computer work I was more then happy to do so. In a volunteer way I am supporting this Mission Ministry.
I asked for those who see this website to wholeheartedly support the different laypeople and Pastors in the Ministries that we help. I thank you and may God bless you.
