BOARD MEMBERS

A Touch of Compassion was started 2011 on the precept of wanting to serve our Heavenly Father by serving others. Our main interest is to build Schools and Churches to endow the local evangelical communities in South America Bolivia to better the education of Youth.  Our starting project has been to renovate a Hospital building in the amazon basin of Chapare Bolivia for a community desperately short of funds but rich with the desire to serve Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. This was the mission ministry of Rev. John and Dr. Margaret Cserepka for many years to help in medical and spiritual needs of the people. Now the pastors and leaders of the community ABET are in need of a Theological & Community College, so the proposal was made to turn the hospital into one.

At the age of 10 I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and then was baptized at the age of 15. During these years I was living with my parents who were missionaries in South America, Bolivia. Then I came back to continue my studies in Canada, at Ontario College of Arts and the University Guelph. Having the opportunity to be a teacher I enjoyed working with young people and had the heart for youth. This is one of the reasons my heart felt the calling from God to go back to the country of my youth Bolivia and serve Him. My wife and I work in Guelph Canada and have 5 adult children some of them have had the opportunity to come to Bolivia on a mission trip. I ask you for your prayers and your support of our Bethesda Project teams going February and August of each year.

May God bless you, and we thank you.

I accepted the Lord into my life at age 17 and was baptized when I was 18. Since that time the Lord  has blessed me and my wife with a wonderful family, and we have felt great joy in watching our family grow. I have known Barney Cserepka for over 25 years and his love for Jesus and the  desire to furthering his Parent's commitment to missions in South America, Bolivia. Because of the joy I have had in watching my family grow I am glad to share in the joy that the Lord has for  Barney Cserepka as his heart continues to reach out to serve our Lord in missions.

I have lived my life very similar to most people in the world today, work, home, family, deciding for myself and living my own way. During this time God spoke to me many times, but I did not listen. When I turned 32 my heart and mind couldn't understand the direction that life was taking me. That was the time, when I felt humbled in front of God, my heart just broke and I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. In the same year I was baptized and since then I have the pleasure of serving Him in my church and abroad with my husband Barney Cserepka.

This is really humbling to be a part of this ministry in Bolivia to serve Jesus Christ, I am so thankful.  At the young age of 7 I felt in my heart to ask my dad if he would help me to pray the prayer of salvation to accept Jesus Christ into my heart. At the age of 12 I was baptized and for the last 32 years I have been blessed countless times through the grace of God. Thankfully I was raised in a home where the love of Jesus was taught each day, to appreciate all of my blessings. Growing up in Sunday school they always encouraged us to show the love of Jesus by allowing him to work through us. I was blessed to get into a career that I work with young children. What better way than to become an educator of the smallest most special beings the God created in this world.

I thank you and ask for your prayers!

"He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD, your God require of you, but to be just, and to love with mercy, and to walk humbly with God?"

Micah 6:8

It's my prayer that the people of God would love one another so well that the world would see us and say, “Something is different about them.” Love one another with kindness and compassion. Not only will you be obedient to God, but you’ll also give the world a glimpse of the hope that’s in you.

BE KIND AND FORGIVING, AND LET YOUR LOVE FOR OTHERS BE A BEACON TO A LOST WORLD.
